Top Down Henley T-Shirt Class

This is a great "first sweater" project!

Pattern: Knitting Pure & Simple #9727

Skills Used: Knit, purl, increases, button holes and knitting in the round

Yarn Ideas: Light worsted weight yarns which will give you the pattern gauge and you want to wear next to your skin. Cascade Sierra is a cotton wool blend that washes and dries nicely; bamboo/cotton blend, silk/cotton blends would also work well.

Gauge: 18 stitches per 4 inches – Have your swatch knitted before class! Call the shop if you have questions about how to knit a gauge swatch.

Needles: 24 or 32” circulars sizes US 8 & US6, 16” circular sizes 8, size 6 double point needles (or needle size to obtain gauge).

Other Items: stitch markers (4), tape measure, yarn needle, scissors, crochet hook, 3 buttons (5/8”) to match your yarn, post-its and a pencil.
